When we called other
offices in November 2005 Chapter 7 fees were running from
about 1000 to 1500 in the Louisville Area. They were
about 1500-2000 in Eastern rural Kentucky. Our normal
attorney fee for an uncontested Chapter 7 in 2006 is 1000
for a single and 1200 for a couple. Filing fees are 300.
Chapter 13 attorney fees
are set by the Court. As you pay the Court the Court
pays your attorney fees. Attorney fees in a 13 are
paid before creditors are paid. The Kentucky Courts
normally grant about a 2600 dollar attorney fee. Indiana
Courts normally grant over a 3000 dollar attorney fee. The
filing fees are presently about 300. |
