Nick Thompson concentrates his law practice on bankruptcy and foreclosure work. He graduated from Murray State University in 1974 with a degree in Political Science and Communications. Then, he studied engineering at the University of Louisville Speed School and Geology at the University of Montana. Next, he earned his law degree at Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi. He then became a member of the West Virginia Bar Association in 1988 and went on to work in the State Tax Department’s Litigation division as an assistant attorney general.
